Chapter 2

Adding an installation

How to add a new Shopware installation to Webshop-Radar — fields, environment mode, uptime interval and contact person.

Overview

Every store you want Webshop-Radar to monitor becomes an installation in the tool. This chapter covers the fields, the environment mode and the contact person you should set per installation.

Required fields

  • Domain — the URL of your Shopware store
  • Client ID & secret — from the Shopware integration (see chapter 4)
  • Label — a friendly name shown in the dashboard, e.g. the client name

Environment mode

Choose between Production and Staging/Dev. This flag drives two things:

  • Visual marker in the dashboard, so you avoid accidental actions on live stores
  • Uptime Radar treats staging differently — no midnight alerts for a dev environment

Uptime ping interval

If the Uptime Radar add-on is active, you can set the ping interval per installation:

  • 1 minute — for critical production shops
  • 5–15 minutes — sensible default for most shops
  • 30–60 minutes — for low-traffic or staging

Contact person

The contact person receives alerts for this installation (down alerts, security warnings, update summaries). You can override the default agency contact per installation — useful when a specific team member owns a specific client.
